I spotted two mallard ducks just wading along the edge of the stream. Their heads bobbed gently on the water. They seemed completely at ease, dipping down and surfacing for goodies. I stood still, watching the ripples they made. The soft sound of the water and their calm movements was nice. Just a simple moment, no rush, just them enjoying their space.
